A DETECTIVE'S DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, April 20. Twenty-six Sinn Feiners, including two members of Parliament, in Londonderry Gaol, have been removed to Wormwood Scrubbs Prison, England, under a strong military escort. Detective Dalton was fatally shot at mid-day in a Dublin street. The case resembles that of Kells. Nobody apparently witnessed the murder. It is believed six persons were concerned. Four persons were seen hastening from the scene. Dalton died in the hospital after the sacrament had been administered in the street.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
