FALL FROM MOTOR CAR

MAN SEVERELY INJURED. A young man named Alfred Lee, residing in Mangorei Road, met with a serious accident last evening which necessitated his removal to the hospital. It appears that Lee had been riding with Mr. Nolan in his motor car, and as they passed the end of Mangorei Road the car was slowed down to enable Lee to alight. In doing this he fell and, struck his head somewhat se"verelv on the ground.

Constable Hadler was on the scene of the accident in a few minutes and he summoned medical aid. Dr. EooKes, after rendering assistance to the injured' mau ordered his immediate removal to the hospital. On inquiry last night the hospital anthorities stated that the injuries sustained to his head by Lee were very serious, and his condition was critical.
