Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr. Winston Churchill (Secretary for War), referring to Germany and the state of affairs there, said the situation was causing the greatest anxiety front the military standpoint. It ought to be the policy of the Government, by all the means in its power, to enaaie a moderate German Government to maintain itself as a living entity, enabling under its aegis and under its organisation the productive activities and prosperity of the German people to revive,— Imperial Service.
