BOURNEMOUTH TRAGEDY.
MAN AND WIFE IN BEDROOM ; WITH THROATS CUT. London, Jan 22. : A charwoman, upon entering the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Groundwater, Grosvenor Road, Bournemouth, fouml their dead bodies in one of the bedrooms. Both were in their nigli t attire. Mrs. Groundwater was lying on the bed with her throat cut, and oii the body were serious injuries. The man was lying on ilia side of (lie bed with his throat cut deeply. The woman had apparently been dead about three hours and the man about 1J hours. In the room a shorthandled coal hammer and a razor, both ,stainejl with blood, were found. Mr. Groundwater, who is between J3O and CO years of age, recently suffered from a nervous breakdown. They had resided alone in the house, being lately without servants. At the inquest, it was suggested it was a ease of murder and suicids, • " • ' * "
