CRITICISM OF U.S.. NAVY. By Telegraph.—Pres3 Assn. —Copyright. Washington, March 22. Admiral Sims has named Rear-Admiral Benson as author of the celebrated admonition: "Do not Allow the British to pull wool over your eyes. We would as soon fight the British as the Germans." Admiral Sims says that owing to Admiral Benson's notorious Anglophobias he (Sims) did not pay particular attention to his language. Admiral Benson's influence throughout the Navy was, however, considerable. STRIKE IN NEW YORK. New York, March IS. Five coastwise steamship lines are tied up through a longshoremen's strike, and are daily losing 35,650 dollars. AERIAL CUSTOMS STATION. New York, March 22.
