Following the sale of surplus aeroplanes, the Ministry of Munitions has accepted Messrs. Rpwnson, Drew, Clydesdale Ltd.'s, offer of £5,000,000 for all surplus factory stores in Britain, comprising thirty thousand different kin&s of articles. —United Service. FALL IN SHIPPING FREIGHTS. London, March 21. The newspaper Fairplay says the majority of shipowners believe a fall in freights is imminent despite the amount of shipping held up by labor troubles. — Aus -N.Z. Cable Assn. PREPARING FOR VISITORS. London, March 21. Owing to the difficulty in obtaining rooms in hotels and boarding-houses an organisation has been formed to help visitors arriving from America and the Dominions, of whom many thousands ore expected during the summer. The organisation will arrange accommodation ordered through it, and will also keep daily details of vacant accommodation in hotels in London and the outskirts, to which visitors will be directed on arrival at the railway stations. — Aug. -N.Z.
