WAR ON PROFITEERING.
SEVERAL CASES IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph Tress Association. Auckland, Last Night. The tribunal appointed by the Board of Trade to investigate ?ases of profiteering in Auckland has comimenced duty. At to-day's sitting a number of complaints were received, and as several of the charges bear a serious aspect an investigation will probably be followed by prosecutions. Several of the complaints are in respect to staple articles of food, and clothing, and these will be given special attention.
