YESTERDAY'S RESULTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association, v Duncdin, Last Night. Band contest results: E Flat Soprano Cornets.—L. Neighbours (Blenheim) OS, W. France (Wanganui) 07, P. Dunn (Woolston) 05, VY. G- Frances (Nelson and .Marlborough) .84, R. Ward (Christchurch Tramways) SO. J. Wills (Invereargill) did not finish. Quartette.—Kaikorai 4.*>, Invereargill Hibernian 43,.Tenth Mounted Regimental Band 30. 13 competed. The Pipe band test selection Quickstep Competition resulted.—Dunedin Highland Pipe Band 493 A, Wyndham 482, Balclutha 40CJ, Southland 3"3 i. The B grade competition for brass bands resulted as follows:—Waterside Workers' Band, Wellington, 260 points, 1; Auckland City Band, 244, 2; Ninth Hawke's Bay Regimental 'Band, Napier, 242,. 3; Municipal Band, 240, 4. These marks are for the two sections of the competition. Other competitors: —First Canterbury Regimental 225; Christchuroh Tramways Band, 224; Winton Municipal Band, 196; C.E.M.S. Band (Christchurch) 130.
