TRIP TO AUSTRALIA. TWO AIRMEN IN INDIA. By Teleertpli.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received March 3, 0.45 p.m. Allahabad, March 2. Lieutenants Mackintosh and Farrar, two demobilised Air Force olticers, arrived at Bagdad on the 7th inst, en route to Australia. They are flying a privately-owned De Haviland machine. They left London on January Bth, and accomplished the first long flight across the Syrian desert, via Ramadi, instead of via Damascus.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ROME TO TOKIO. AVIATORS REACH INDIA. Received March 3, 9.45 p.m. Karachi, March 2. Fertrin, one of the Italian aviators who are flying to Tokio, after a stop at Bunder Abbas, left Chanbor this morning for Karachi. Strong winds compelled him to descend near PaSni. On the 2nd inst. an Italian machine, piloted by Lieutenant Masiero, arrived at Karachi.—Time3 Service. Received March 4, 1/10 a.m. Karachi, March 3.
