THE LIST OF CASUALTIES. By Telegraph—Press As3n.—Copyright, Received March 2, 2.25 p.m. Capetown, Feb. 1. Two natives, 'injured in riots at Johannesburg, died, making four deaths. Between sixty and seventy natives were sent to hospital; also seven white police and one civilian.—Reuter Service. Received March 2, 7.15 p.m. Pretoria, March 1. Eight natives wore killed in rioting, following a native meeting at Vrededorp, to consider strike questions.Many were injured. The Europeans are much excited, and demand the removal of the natives.—Aus.-NiZ. Cable Assn.
