TO-DAY'S PROSPECTS. "I '"' (By "Moturoa.") Wanganui, Last Night. Splendid acceptances are carded for the concluding day of the Wanganul races. The weather Is still overcast, but the course promises to be in bettor order to-morrow Racine opens, with the Autumn Handicap, for which fourteen hau beeri paid up. Bonnetter, Borealls and Jutland appear the best handicapped. Fifteen remain in the Matiarawa Hack Handicap,. including smart sprinters like Dainty Step and Farce. The Jackson Stakes looks like providing an Interesting race between Acre and Sllvat Lir.k. Zola is meeting Coldstream on eight pound better terms In tho Fordoll Hurdles, and the shorter distance to-un::i'row should suit Zola belter. Carry On was unlucky to lose on Thursday and should start a warm order in the Okoia Handicap. Nino remain In the WapEonui Stakes and all are likely to be well supported. KUmoon and Oratress appear tc bo most In demand In doubles, and Oratress may be very hard to teat. Hallowvonia won nicely on the opening day and asain reads well in the Harrison Hack Handicap, but Haversack may be dangerous. . Considerable interest will be taken in Arrowsmith's appearance m the Farewell Handicap. He ran four furlonirs in 48 seconds with Ost. up this morning and looks unbeatable.
