Cable Assn. [Kaid Mac Lean, as he was generally known, was born in 1848. He became instructor to the Moorish Army under the late Sultan, and accompanied him in his expeditions. He was captured by the notorious bandit. Raisuli, in 1907, while on a mission from the Sultan, and held a prisoner for some months].
