ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
YOUNG WOMAN'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph— Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Emily Ellen Hewitt, a single woman, aged 26, hanged herself in an out-shed at her parents' residence at Lower Riccarton. She was a sufferer during the influenza epidemic, and never fully recovered since. She has been subject to fits, despondency, and general bad health. A YOUTH FOUND DEAD. Invercargill, Last Night. The police received information from Arrowtown to-day of the death of Raymond Fans, aged 18, of Huntly, who was visiting relatives at Arrowtown. He went bird-nesting yesterday, and as he did not return, a search was made and his body was found in some scrub. There was a bullet wound in the forebead, and a revolver was found beside the body.
