GOLDEN WEDDING.
To few of us is given the good fortune of celebrating the 50th _ annivera«ry of our wedding, but such pleasure was afforded Mr. and Mrs. Richard Price, of "Oakdale," Egmont Village, on Sunday, 28th inst. Owing to the state of Mr. Price's health only his own family and relations were present. There was a family celebration of the Holy Communion, after which the wedding breakfast was partaken of. The health of the happy couple was proposed by the Rev. Mr. Stanton, who, in the course of his remarks, likened our lives to the clouds of an autumn day—sometimes bright, sometimes dark, but always culminating in a beautiful sunset. The health of the bridesmaids, who are all still alive, was proppsed by Mr. W. J. Coughlan.
The best man (Mr. P. Kidd) again officiated in the capacity he did 50 years ago. Musical items terminated a happy gathering. Members of Mr. and Mrs. Price's family from all over the Dominion were present.
