Boyce, of Sefton, Canterbury, was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Hawera, on December 17. The Rev. H. B. Gray performed the ceremony. The church was prettily decorated by girl friends of the bride'. The beautiful tulle veil which formed the train was arranged at the back of the hair on a wreath of orange blossoms. A shower bouquet of creme roses and pink carnations completed a very dainty toilette. The bridesmaids (Miss Sadie Boyce and Miss Olive Blake) wore frocks of organdi muslin trimmed with chavmeuse satin, and hats of black tulle with floral crown, and carried pretty bouquets to match. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. C. Blake as best man, and Mr. S. Boyce acted as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained by the bride's parents at the Islington Tea Piooms, where a dainty afternoon tea was served. Mr and Mrs. Boyce left by motor for Wanganui, on route for the Cold Lakes, where the honeymoon is to be spent, the bride travelling in a smart grey tailored costume with hat to match.
