Poulet has cabled that his machine is very tired, but the motors are in good condition. He is determined to reach Australia, though he has been thrice baffled between Rangoon and Bangkok, twice by fog and once by black vultures attacking him.—Times Service. , THE ATLANTIC HERO. SIR JOHN ALCOCX KILLED. London, Dee. 19. Sir John Alcoek, who flew across the Atlantic, died at Paris as the result of injuries caused by his machine crashing. [Sir John Aleock is the British flying officer who flew across the Atlantic this year. He was knighted by the King for the performance. During the war he had a brilliant career as a member of the Flying Corps.]
