RESULTS STILL IN DOUBT. By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Dec. 29. The latest returns in the Federal elections are:— Nationalists 33 Labor 22 Farmers' Party 4 There are still 10 doubtful seats. The results of the new 'voting system (proportional representation) indicate that there will be 60,000 informal votes for the Senate, as against 29,000 at last election. The keenest interest is displayed in New South Wales in the Federal returns, in view of the forthcoming State elections on the basis of these returns and with proportional representation, Laborites hope considerably to improve their position.
