A CHARGE OF MURDER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Auckland, Yesterday. In the Police Court, Harold Stapleton :0 years, and Alexander Coppert, 21 rears, were charged with the murder of rrank Brasier, licensee of the Clarendon iotel Mr. Singer, for accused, asked or bail and said that Brasier was interfering with one of the accused men n his bedroom. The man called to his mate for assistance and there was a struggle in the dark with the result that Brasier waß knocked down. The injury which caused his death was aue to a fall. The magistrate said that he had ordered a post mortem to get evidence on this point. Meantime he would not allow bail.
