ARRANGEMENTS FOR. VOTING. THE ISSUES BEFORE ELECTOStS. The oft-repeated adriet to elector*! 1 * on polling day to "Vote-, and TOW v early," is good on every occasion, »nd no one following it will go far astiayTo exercise the privilege of the franchise is a duty laid upon elector* which should not be disregarded. The arrangements for recording votes to-day are adequate and complete, both for the purpose of electing candidates to Parliament and for Toting on the liquor referendum, Voters should bear in mind, that the hours of polling are from » a.m. to 6 p.m. The candidates for the Tarawki Beats are as follows: TABANAKI. • , *S. The principal polling booths in the various Taranaki electorates are as follows: Taranaki, Courthouse, New Jlymouth; Waitomo, Municipal Hall, xe Ki»iti; StfratWrd, Town Hall, Steatford; Egmont, Athenaeum Halt, Kltham; Patea, Winter' Show Buildings, Hawera. On the licensing question three issues will be submitted to the electors: (continuance, State purchase and control, and National Prohibition, Two lines must he struck out or * ballot paper will be informal. ■ Electors who' make a mistake in marking any of their voting papers should not hesitate to return such to the returning officer and receive • fresh paper. Returned soldiers should lomemner that they have the privilege ol voting whether they are op the roll or not, and also regardless of which district they belong to. Further, the age regulation does not apply to returned soldiers.
