GRAtN IN AUSTRALIA HELD UP. Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyrluhl. Received Dec. 15, 12.r> a.m. London, Dec. 13. The Journal of Commerce, commenting on freight markets, says boat? are wanted in Australia to load grain at 105/- per ton, but owners are reluctant to use steamers for this trade, owing to the rate being insufficient to pay working expenses. There would be a sharp rise in Australian freight rates if all British -shipping were freed from control. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
