GERMAN MARINE MINES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Dec. 14. The Navy Department, lias announced that two drifting mines have been found, one at Cape Flattery, near Cooktown, and another oft' Dove Tsland, in Torres Straits. Presumably the mine.? drifted from the New Zealand and Bass Straits enemy mine fields. Shipping using these waters is warned to keep a sharp look-out,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
