Received Dec. 4, 1.30 a.m. London, Dec. 1. •oxtsmouth's plans to welcome the Prince of Wales on Monday may be cut out owing to the. declared intention of the unemployed to seek an interview with the Prince at the Town Hall while fit in receiving an official welcome. The unemployed have prepared a petition urging the Prince to impress Ministers with the necessity of providing work as an alternative to the payment of the unemployment dole. Mr. Lloyd George, during a visit to Portsmouth Arsenal, said: "Clear out ehellg; we will never want them again " -Aus.-NA Cable Assn.
