STATE GOVERNORS. Melbourne, Dec. 3. Mr. Lawson (Premier) announced that he had received a message from Lord Miluer stating that a Governor would not be appointed to Victoria for sixmonths, pending the result of the Commonwealth Convention, which will discuss the redistribution of State and Federal powers. INFLUENZA IN TASMANIA, Hobart, Dec. 3. Sixteen fresh cases of pneumonic influenza have been notified, fourteen at Zeehan. SOLDIERS* WAR GRATUITY. Hobart, Dec. 3. The Tasmanian Government has decided to cash the war gratuity bonds.
