More than a thousand prominent men were present when the Pilgrim Society entertained the Prince of Wales a dinner before his departure- Message: from King George and Queen Alexandra were read. . The Prince, in his speech, said that two self-governing countries, Canada and th« United States, were living side by side confident in each other's goodwill Tliey had given a splendid example to the world.
