WAR HONORS.
; DECORATIONS AT TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. An interesting ceremony was witnessed by a large number of the public in the Drill Hall this evening, when Colonel Young, Officer Commanding the Canterbury District, presented a number of military decorations. Over 300 officers, I non-commissioned officers, men, and sen- [ for cadets paraded. The Mayor presided. Colonel Young distributed one Croix de Guerre, four D.C.M.'s, twenty M.M.'s, three M.S.M.'s, and two long service (Imperial) medals. In four cases mothers received the awards for their sons who lost their lives.
