COASTAL STEAMERS' STRIKE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn, —Copyright. Received Nov. 20, 9.45 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 20. There is very little evidence of the coastal steamers' strike. Most of the steamers left port he lore, the notice expired, the crews intimating their intention to come ashore immediately they reach their home ports. Iu the Assembly, a Bill was introduced to control necessary commodities and prevent profiteering. This will repeal the Necessary Commodities Control Act of 1914. A commission of three will be appointed to fix prices. Severe penalties, and imprisonment, are provided for transgression.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Association.
