BLIZZARD IN ENGLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Avai.— Copyright. London, Nov! 16. One of the severest November blizzards recorded is raging in the north of England and Scotland. There have been hc.vy snowfalls, and skating and tobogganing are proceeding. IRON-FOUNDERS' DISPUTE. London, Nov. 15. The men's representatives for the Iron-founder*' Union sought a conference with the employers, fit is hoped it will result in n settlement of the strike which has lasted for seven weeks and directly involves 50,000 men, while the number of dependent industries seriously affected is increasing daily. Several lp.rge motor car firms threaten to close down unless there Is a speedy set-tlement.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
