QUESTION IN COMMONS. London, Oct. SO. The reappearance of Rhine wines on the tables of ijie dining room ill the House of Commons occasioned some banter. Mr. Billing asked Sir A. Gardner, chaiirman of tile Kitchen Committee, why the Rhine wines were purchased. • Sir A. Gatrtner replied that various members wanted them, and there were cries of "Names!" Air. Bottomley suggested that it wa3 the most agreeable method of helping Germany to pay the indemnity.
