—i ■» ANNUAL MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The annual meeting of the Kawaroa Park Committee was held in the Bungalow last night. There was a good attend-1 ance, over which Mr. V. H. Beal presided.! He expressed pleasure at the attendance, i which, he thought, showed the interest ! taken in the work, and that those who were concerned in the park were thoroughly satisfied with the way the work had been carried on during the past Jiear. N : Apologies for absence were received from Messrs S. Coad, H. Gaylard, R. Inch, G. Moverley, and J. Hoskin. The chairman moved the adoption of the report and balance sheet, a summary of which has already been published, and, in referring to the credit balance of £204 10s lid, said that extensive improvements were necessary, which the new committee would have to take into » consideration, and which would take up most of the balance in hand. The chief of these were additional dressing room accommodation for men, and the proper formation of the drive. *' Mr. T. Petty seconded the motion, which was carried unanimously, The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. L. Newman; president, Mr. V. H. Beal; vice-presidents, Messrs W. C. Weston, E.
