HIGH SCHOOL OLD BOYS.

THE ANNUAL BALL. The annual hall of the New Plymouth High School Old Boys' Association web held in the Assembly Hall of the school last night, and was a thoroughly enjoyable affair. Invitations were sent throughout the Dominion, and there was an unusually largo attendance.. During the war the Old Boys abandoned their annual for 11. The hall was decorated with fine bamboos on the wall, with festoons of ivy around the balcony, which made a striking picture against the white walls. The dining room, where the supper was held, was arranged in long tnbles, each being decorated with pale pink roses and reanunucnli, while the red shaded lights cast a most bewitching glow over the whole room. The ladies who had charge of the supper arrangements were: Meadames Denny Drown, Alec McDiarmid. Moyes, Rod;el, Ryder, Sladden, H. Fookes, and Miss Barr. Great credit is due to the Old Soys' Committee for the splendid way in which they carried out the arrangements of the (lance. Amount those who motored from Stratford to the dance were Misses Young, Jackson, Bates, Urnacke (2), and Wright.
