LABOR DAY SPORTS.
FINAL ARRANGEMENTS. A final reminder is (riven in regard to the arrangements for the Labor Day sports in Pukekiira Park. The afternoon train has been delayed till 4.15, tints piving country people a chance to attend the sports. The Eltham Pipe Hand has been specially engaged for the day, and, together with the Citizens' Band, will considerably enliven proceedings. The physical culture display by the High School boys, judging by precious displays, should prove a big draw. The Hfthv Show, open to babies up to 12 months, is well provided for, prises up to the value of Crt fls having, been donated. A local entertainer of considerable repute has promised to demonstrate to the public his capabilities as a variety entertainer and comedian, so the children will look forward to thla event. The Ladies' Committeo wish to remind those who have promised dishes to have them ready by 0 o'clock on Monday morning, when they will be called for. Anyone wishing to donate further towards the supper could leave the goods at the Coronation Hall any time on Monday.
