I» an unofficial statement he expressed the opinion that Britain would grant tlie United States equal rights to the Straits of Gibraltar, if the United States would accept the mandate for Armenia, Anatolia, and Constantinople. Mr. Morsrentiiun biu<l he would advocate the acceptance of such a mandate.
