TURKEY.
INFLUENCE OP NEW CABINET. POLICY NOT ANTI-ENTENTE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 17, 5.5 p.m. London, Oct. 16. The position in Anatolia has improved since the accession of the new Turkish Cabinet. The danger of a conflict with the Nationalist troops has decreased. The British policy of neutrality, in political matters is proving successful. Constantinople is quiet, but the new Government, which is slightly Nationalist, is clearly'in touch with Mustapha Kernel, and is conducting propaganda to prove that Kernel's movement is neither anti-Entente nor anti-Christian.—Aus.-N.Z.
