FALL OP THE CITY REPORTED; Received Oct. 'l7, 10.30 p.m. London, Oct. 16. A message from Reval states that Yudenitch. is within 12 miles of Petrograd, and news of the fall of the city is expected at any moment. The Daily Express' Helsingfors correspondent states that it is unofficially reported that Yudenitch captured Petrcgrad on Wednesday night. Krondstadt capitulated ofter an intense bombardment by the British fleet. Helsingfors, Oct. 16. The capture of Krondstadt is a moat brilliant exploit in view of the fact that only light cruisers and destroyers were engaged. The capture rounds off Admiral Cowan's nine months' campaign in the Baltic.-—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
