THE HOME RULE POLICY. 0 A NEW VERSION. By Telegraph.—Press Asm.—Copyright. Received Oct. 17, 7.40 p.m. Dublin, Oct. 16. A series of private dinners and consultations hare been arranged, at which Mr. Lan Macpherson (Chief Secretary for Ireland), Lord Birkenhead. (Lord Chancellor), and other Government representatives will attempt to win support for the latest version of the Home Rule policy. The atmosphere outside official circles continues unfavorable. Even the Constitutional Nationalists are not convinced of the Government's sincerity. Comment in Freeman's Journal typifies the current feeling. '. The paper says: "The movement which threw Ireland into chaoß heaved Lord Birkenhead on to the Woolsack, and anything which he fabricates can be regarded as a constitutional decoy and will meet with contemptuous rejection."—Times Service. CAMPAIGN AGAINST SINN FEINERS. London Oct. 16. The Government has issued a proclamation for the suppression of Sinn Fein organisations in Dublin County.— AUB.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
