SUPREME COURT.
EXPULSION FROM UNION EXECUTIVE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. In the Sujaente Court, Mr. Justice Edwards gave judgment in the case in which Martin Joseph Lee appealed from the action of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants in expelling him , from the executive. His Honor said there must be judgment for the defendant union. He thought, however, it was proper to add that the judgment involved no finding against the character of the plaintiff. In his Honor's opinion, plaintiff had mistaken kis rights and fa!iled to appreciate the extent of the authority given by the rules to the executive council. He believed plaintiff honestly believed himself justified in the course he took, and, therefore, thought he might properly add that nothing had appeared 1 in the* case tn deprive plaintiff of the esteem of the other members of the union.
