POSSES SHOOTING DOWN NEGROES.! By Telegraph.—r.-ess Assn.—Copyright. New York, Oct. 1. Omaha correspondent of the New York Times states that another negro assaulted a white worna.-. The newspapers suppressed the fact in order to prevent a resumption of rioting. A thousand troops are patrolling the city and machine-guns are placed on the roofs of buildings in many sections.
