THE LENOHt-CAILLAUX CASE. FURTHER STATEMENTS By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—CopyrlSM, Received Sept. 30, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Sept. 29. Both Lenoir and Caillaux were heard before the High Court. Lenoir alleges that he was merely carrying on his father's work in nefroiiating with Sehoeller for the purchase of Le Journal. His father acted in close concert with Caillaux. Another treason courtmartial begins on Monday, when nine men and three women will be charged with aiding the publication of the notorious propagandist Gazette des Ardennes, published by the Germans and circulated broadcast in the occupied regions of France and BelgiumA plebiscite in Luxembourg decided in favor of a customs union with France. —Aus.-N.Z.
