REDUCTION IN OUTPUT,

Mr. Pry or, secretary, of the N»w Zealand Coal Mine Owners' Association, in a letter to Mr. Massey, gives the reduce tion in the output from the mines for the week ending Friday last as followsl Wcatport 1657 tons, Taupiri 1060, West-port-Stockton 942, Blackball 914, miro 669, Hikurangi 665, Waipa 192, Nightcaps 307, Paparoa 180, New Zealand Coal and Oil Company 148, In addition to the reduction at the State mine, estimated at 1000 tons, making 8324 tons, the total reduction of output for foul" weeks during which the go-slow policy, : has been in operation is 32,585 tons* '
