"THE SORROWS OF SATAN." The all-English film de luxe, "The Sorrows of Satan," produced by Samuelson Films, Loudon, opened at Everybody's last night and concludes ita season tonight. The matinee to-day commences at 2 p.m. Miss Gladys Cooper, the most prominent beauty actress of the day is seen in the part of Lady Sybil Elton, and gives a most realistic presentation of the role.of the young society girl who is sold to the gentleman who bids the handsome price of five millions for her. Lucifer is played by Cecil Humphreys, and makes a fascinating Devil, in accordance with the belief usually expressed that this individual has more than ordinary charm. The play is a faithful reproduction .of Marie Coreili's famous novel, and as it is world-read, will be particularly interesting to all who desire to see the characters in real life,
THE PEOPLE'S. DAINTY MARGUERITE CLARK. To-day's new bill commencing at the matinee at 2 p.m. presents tlie dainty artiate, Marguerite Clark, in her very latest picture, "Out of a Clear Sky." The dainty star is fortunate in having the support in the leading male role, of Thomas Meighan, one of the best known and most popular of the screen's leading men. In "Out of a Clear Sky," Miss Clark plays the part of a Belgian princess, who is being forced into an obnoxious marriage with a German nobleman. She comes to the United States, and, seeking a hiding-place in the mountains of Tennessee, meets a handsome young mountaineer, portrayed by Mr Meighan, who assists her to thwart the plotters.
