AN UNFORTUNATE MOTION. REGRETTED BY A LARGE MAJORITY By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting of the Wellington Returned Soldiers' Association Mr. A. B. Sievwright moved: That it be an instruction to the executive o'f the W.R.S.A. to supply a return at the next meeting showing (1) the names of those who compose the executive of the N.Z.R.S.A.; (2) what was the date at which theße gentlemen were first appointed to ah executive offioe of the R.S.A.; what Government appointments or offices are held by any of these gentlemen; (4) what salaries or other remuneration are paid to any of these gentlemen« from the funds of the R.S.A. An amendment, expressing regret that the motion had been brought forward was carried by a large majority.
