NORTH SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmereton N., Yesterday. At the Supreme Court J. Mitchell, licensee of the Occidental Hotel, appealed againsft a conviction for exposing liquor for sale. The appeal was upheld, his Honor Mr Justice Hosking holding that there was no evidence. The licensee's wife had authority for being in the bar for the purpose of selling liquor. The appeal against the conviction was allowed.

At the Supreme Court to-day, Albert Edward M'Kenna, 19 years, on three charges of theft of motor cycles and the theft of a motor engine was sentenced to reformative treatment for 21 yearsLeslie Robert Broughton, 20 years of age, was fined £lO for making false declaration to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages to the effect that he was married to the mother of the child he registered.
