WITIORA v. INGLEWOOD. An enjoyable match was played at the Witiora links yesterday afternoon between the ahovo clubs, the home team having six wins, one loss, and one all square. The day was somowhat windy, but the course was hi good order, and the visitors expressed their pleasure at the day's outing, and thanks for tho hospitality extended to them, an excellent afternoon tea being provided by Mesdamcs Medley* George, Elliott, Cameron, and Clarke. Following are the results:—Medley beat Gudgeon, 1 up; Sole beat P. O'Cmoli, 3up and 2; Broome lost to C, O'Carroll, 2 down; Cannell beet W. Marshall, 4 up and 3; Bond bent R. Geddes, 5 and 4; Tlooker beat L. Carmine, 4 and 3; R George beat P.uHin, 4 and 2; Luscombe and Morllng, all square. THE GREY TROPHY. Following is the result of the first round of the George Grey trophy match: Johnstone beat Broome, "> uy and 4: Cannell beat Bond, 1 up; Medley beat Coad, 6 and 5; Elliott beat Sole, r> and 4; Hooker be?t Wilson, 9 and 8; and Luscombe beat Wood, 4 and 2.
