ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. "THE MASK." Li "The Mask," a Triangle picture starring Claire Anderson, and showing to-night and to-morrow at Everybody's, the story deals with the effect of sudden wealth on a young girl whose mental balance is perhaps not quite strong enough to withstand it. Claire Anderson in the role of Sally is bewitching, dainty, vivacious and spirited, and contributes very largely to the success of a charming comedy drama. Human failings and frailties are pictured in the most whimsical and delightful manner in this story of too much money and pretense. Limousines, luxury and titles abound in an atmosphere of social snobbery, and the unravelling of serious complications makes a fascinating entertainment served up at a brisk pace, and without a slow movement in it. Another episode of "The House of Hate" shows with this programme.

COMING FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. As an extra attraction for next Friday and Saturday the management of Everybody's has secured the splendid historical film of the "German Naval Surrender."

THE PEOPLE'S. '" The beautiful and accomplished Italian actress, Lina Cavalicri, has created a most favorable impression at the People's in "A Woman of Impulse," a strong dramatic play screening finally to-night. The programme includes a bristling Mack Sennett comedy, "Cupid's Day Off," starring all the knuts. The latest gazette is also on the bill as well as a further chapter of the "Railroad Raiders." "LEST WE FORGET." Oh, you of little faith, of faltering courage, who question America's reason for waging war against the Hun! Find here the answer to your doubts, in this dramatic story of Rita Jolivet, fair daughter of France, to whom that well beloved American, Charles Fr ohman, spoke his last immortal words: "Why fear death? Death is the most beautiful adventure of life." It was her actual presence on board the Lusitania whim that ill fated vessel was torpedoed by the Germans, tlmt'made Miss Jolivet the logical star for this tremendous production. Her vivid recollections of the details of the tragedy enabled her to give a,great deal of material help to Director Honce Perret when the picture was in course of production. Tragic scenes that occurred as the great ship went to her doom were faithfully reenncted under her vivid recollections. This big super-product ion in eight parts commences to-morrow night and concludes on Friday.
