BRITISH OUTPUT DECLINES 50 PER CENT. SHORTER HOURS THE CAUSE. By Telegtaph.—Press Assn.—Copyilsht. London, Aug. 10. The Daily Mail, commenting on the coal position, states that since the sevenIwur day was introduced the weekly coal output has declined approximately 50 l>er c.'nt. Tlie newspaper adds that the indications are that in future the total output is not likely to exceed the amount that was required for bunkers and home nonsumption in 1913,—Aus. N.Z, Cable Assoc.
