AN AUCKLAND DISPUTE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Auckland branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association has decide ! to withhold all moneys from headquarter* until (hat body hands over unconditionally (o •;! ■ Auckland Provincial Committee nil :• •: units due to it tinder the decision of vim recent conference that the Provincial committees shall receive, for organisation purposes, two shillings out of every four shillings capitation fee paid to headquarters by branch associations. The opinion was expressed that the action of headquarters in not fillfilling the letter or spirit of the conference'? decision was to block political propaganda. Several members spoke of cutting adrift from the New Zealand body if the present course was persisted in by headquarters. The Auckland branch membership approaches 10,000.
