L. Glover, dentist, went for a walk yesterday afternoon to the cliffs beyond St. Clair. A BOXER'S DEATH. Dunedin, Last Night. The inquest was resumed to-day on .Tames Keay, who received fatal injuries in a boxing cont'est last Monday evening. The evidence showed that everything connected with the tournament was properly conducted, and that the blow itself was not sufficient to have caused death, which resulted from concussion, as the result of deceased's head striking the padded floor. The coroner's verdict was that deceased died from concussion of the brain due to a fall, the result of a blow dealt by James Aloysius Patrick McDonald in a boxing contest, adding that the contest apparently had been of a most friendly character and carried out in a fair and honorable manner. H<s considered no blamo whatever could be attributed to McDonald, but seemed to be a sheer case of misfortune.
