The casualties total 600 injured fcnd 20 (lend. Of tile latter, 10 are whites. The situation is aggravated by the strike of tram l .v ay men, which tied up ,the city's transportation system. Fourteen whites and eight negroes were killed, and about &00 injured, in the racial riots at Chicago, Throughout Monday night the mobs controlled streets and thero was wild fighting.
