A statement that was mado in Wellington recently that thero is likely to be a shortage of sugar in the Dominion was referred to by the manager of,the Colonial Sugar Refining, Company today. He said he knew nothing of an Impending shortage of sugar. His company expected to have its first season's shipment of raw material before August Bth., and had plenty to go on with in the meantime.
