APPOINTMENT OP WOMEN JUSTICES URGED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. " Wanganui, Last Night. At the annual conference of the Tara-■naki-Wangauui W.C.T.U. a motion was passed urging ,the Government, in view of the large number of court cases in Which women and children are concerned, fjo appoint women justices of the peace. The motion further urged that sensible women, who would have a much cloarei understanding than men of delicate question, should be selected, and ,tlmt in certain cases they should have the power to suppress undesirable press reports.
